Stock Condition Survey and Reinstatement Cost Assessment for Insurance purposes

We carried out the initial Stock Condition Survey in 2017 and returned in December 2023 to survey and update the Report. The building is a Listed former Victorian workhouse which was used as a hospital in the 20^th century and converted into apartments in the early 21^st century. Externally the building retains much of its original appeal and architectural features.

The Stock Condition Survey will allow residents to prepare a programme of planned preventative maintenance over the next 5-year period.

We also prepared a Reinstatement Cost Assessment for insurance purposes in accordance with RICS guidance, the Assessment calculates the gross internal floor area of the building, applies rebuild costs, takes into consideration design fees, statutory fees and inflation to arrive at a re-build cost for the building.
