Redevelopment of Farm Site within Listed Farmhouse
In October 2018 our client approached us to seek permissions to re-develop their farm site near Wellow, Bath. The farm included several steel frame agricultural buildings and a Listed Grade II dwelling.
Numerous applications were submitted and the farmhouse proposal which incorporated the reinstatement of a former wing to the house was “called in” to Planning Committee. Dolman represented Client and presented the case at Bath Guildhall, permission was granted.
Class Q Prior Approvals were also submitted for the conversion of steel frame buildings to residential use. Following numerous design meetings with Client and close liaison with the Planning Officer Prior Approval was granted for five dwellings amounting to 750m2 of residential floor space, a very happy Client.
