Fire Damage Repairs

At Dolman we are often called upon for our Building Surveying and Architectural Services to repair buildings following property fires. We are currently working on a dwelling in Urchfont and a range of historical agricultural barns near Lymington – technically it’s an interesting procedure for us to try to reinstate the building to its original form, in line with the insurance policy.

We liaise with Client and the Loss Adjuster from an early stage, obtain Planning Permission and Building Regulations for the works, followed by preparing a specification of works and tender process to building contractors. We then often oversee the works taking a QS role as required by the insurer.
