Care Home, Castle Cary

Works have progressed well since our last post in June at this challenging site. Access to the site is tight and there is minimal room to co-ordinate works. Construction of the extensions has therefore been carried out in phases with the external walls almost complete and the roof structure now being cut on to the rear of the extension. The extension should be in the dry before the winter weather comes.

Works in the existing building is further advanced with alteration works nearing completion, windows and external doors installed and first fix mechanical and electrical well under way.

It has also been a busy time for Dolman with, amongst other things, a mechanical and electrical layout produced, finishing schedules issued to client along with contract administration including, progress meetings, agreement of variations, interim valuations etc.
