Stock Condition Surveys

We have recently completed Stock Condition Surveys for a local Town Council, relating to three of their buildings.  The surveys involved inspection of the external envelope of the buildings (roofs, eaves areas, rainwater goods, walls, windows, external doors) and the internal fabric including ceilings, walls, floor finishes, internal doors, fittings etc.

The subsequent Reports identify individual elements, setting out location, description and overall condition including recommendations for future repairs / replacements, in this case over the next five years.  A Budget Maintenance Plan was also provided.

The Reports provide a starting point for Client to firstly determine the condition of their buildings and then allow a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Strategy to be implemented.  A well planned and actioned PPM strategy can extend the lifespan of buildings, minimise disruptive reactive maintenance / repairs and lower overall maintenance costs.
