School Project – Update

Tender prices were received in June for the school summer Holiday projects and formal funding is now in place. Most of the projects are within budget although the uncertain times have had an impact upon the supply of certain materials and some labour. The projects are funded predominantly with School Conditions Allocation (SCA) monies with a contribution from the School Development Formula Capital (DFC) fund.

Pre-commencement meetings have been held with the schools / contractors and works will commence mid to late July with completion in late August. In these challenging times it is satisfying to carry out the works as normal during the school Summer Holiday period. Our thanks go to schools and contractors for their efforts.
