Roof and alteration works to Listed Cottage, Keevil

Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent have been approved for alterations to this listed cottage in the centre of Keevil.  It had been extended twice in the 20^th Century, however alterations are required to these single storey elements to provide a comfortable Kitchen and Bathroom for the property to be suitable for modern living.

Alteration works include the provision of a large opening in the original stone rear wall and works to the roof to replace the fibre cement with a more aesthetically pleasing tiled roof.  Sensitive works to improve the insulation internally and provide mechanical ventilation via cast iron air bricks is also proposed.
