Residential Single Storey Extension

A Building Regulations Application has been submitted to the Local Authority alongside Technical Drawings for a rear single storey extension.

After reviewing the Permitted Development Rights criteria, we advised the client that Planning Permission would not be needed, saving both time and money.

The works involve replacing a modest rear Lobby / Utility that has a flat roof which has previously been prone to leaks. We proposed to demolish it and erect a new and larger Lobby / Utility with a pitched roof, improving the functionality, thermal performance as well as the aesthetics of the building.
