Reinstatement of fire damaged Listed Dwelling, Marston

The reinstatement of another fire damaged home began early-January following a tender exercise, Planning and Listed Building Consent and earlier survey and architectural design tasks.  The fire provided an opportunity to adapt a contemporary part of the dwelling which along with the vernacular and traditional works of green oak framing, wattle and daub panels, long straw thatch promises to provide an attractive home encompassing both vernacular and contemporary architecture, completion is expected mid-summer 2021.
