Reinstatement and restoration of fire damage home in Chippenham

Further to our article in April we have now received tender prices for the first stage of works, comprising of the provision of a covered scaffold and clearance of the damaged structure / fabric.

A pre-commencement meeting with the Client and Contractor (Messrs Carty Building Contractors) will be held shortly and works will begin during mid-May.  With respect to Covid-19 the Contractor will carry out the works in accordance with industry guidance issued by Public Health England.

Preparation for Stage 2 of the Fire Damage reinstatement and restoration is well underway with technical drawings prepared and an application for Building Regulation Approval submitted.  Thereafter, detailed specification of the works will be prepared for a second tender.
