Applications for Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent are currently under consideration for two new ensuite letting rooms that are to be formed within an offshoot of this most appealing historic Inn.

The property which dates from 1765 is Grade II listed, and lies in a Conservation Area and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  The attractive locality and proximity to Stonehenge, Avebury and other tourist attractions make it popular with visitors, for whom the new provisions should be most popular.

The structure to be converted was once used for stabling and subsequently garaging, but latterly served as an informal storage area.  The proposal will not only enhance the appeal of the property, but also help attract more visitors to this desirable area.
