The fire damage seems long forgotten, with new thatch, chimney and timber frame repairs now complete.  The extension and internal alterations are nearing completion.

Removal of some 1970’s erroneous finishes, cleaning and opening up of fireplaces, lime plaster work has resulted in a building capable of self-venting and breathing – the former damp environment has changed.

The inherent character of the historic features is a pleasure to see, with completion late-January followed by exterior decoration, landscaping and soft furnishings in the Spring, it promises to be an attractive Grade II Listed home.
