Extension and Alteration Work, Poulshot

A Planning Application was submitted in 2020 to extend the existing dwelling and provide a Study/Bedroom and Dining Area off of the existing Kitchen.  Although the building is not Listed it lies within a Conservation Area and is mentioned within the Conservation Area Statement as having historical interest.

A contemporary design was originally submitted however the Conservation Officer insisted upon a more traditional frontage to the extension whilst retaining a more contemporary design to the rear.  Although both parts of the extension were constructed at the same time the extension reads as two separate parts externally yet a wonderful internal use of space has been created.

Both Client and ourselves are pleased with the finished article!
