Comment upon the Economic Climate within the Building Industry

The construction climate is hotting up – enquiries and instructions from private and commercial clients have and are increasing to a level not experienced for several years.  Contractors are busier and less able to start projects as quick as we have become used to during recent times.  A busy and healthy workload is being enjoyed by most contractors/building firms and sub-contractors.

Longer lead in times and longer programmes are to be expected.  There is an expectation the building costs will rise, the next six month review of prices and availability of labour will be an interesting and revealing study
